This was posted on Northeastern’s confessions page:

“To all women at Northeastern University or in Boston:

Earlier this week, I was approached at Whole Foods Symphony by a man- white, well dressed, and about 28 years old. He flattered me and asked me out for coffee on Newbury Street tonight. He is a “doctor” at Tufts Medical, and when he met me at the coffeeshop, he “realized” that he left his pager at home and insisted we go across the street to his apartment so he could quickly get it.

Caught off guard, I went across the street with him, assuming we’d be leaving immediately and return to the coffee shop to begin our “date”. That was not the case, and I was lured inside and sexually assaulted. It was clear that this was premeditated and that it probably wasn’t his first time doing it. I have since been informed that he has tried to do this to at least one other woman. I was able to quickly remove myself from the situation and left immediately.

I am alright, a little freaked out, but I am mostly worried about the fact that he will do this again because this is clearly a pattern for him. While I was able to get out of it mostly unscathed, I want to prevent the same thing, or worse, happening to another.

So please, if you encounter this man, be careful. Let your friends know and stay safe.”
